Monthly Updates

Two Races, Many Lessons

June started off as a relatively quiet month, focused on settling into life in Stirling and getting back into a steady rhythm with training. It was very much about building consistency, adjusting to a new environment, and continuing to put the work in behind the scenes.

Towards the end of the month, things picked up with the Lochore Super Series aquathlon. It was a solid performance, finishing 9th overall. While I would have liked to have been a bit higher up the field, the result felt like a positive step – especially given the big life change of moving out of home and adapting to a new routine.

The following weekend brought another opportunity to compete at the Mallory Park Super Series. Across a busy couple of days, I qualified for the A final on Saturday, which was a great achievement against a strong field. On Sunday, I finished 17th overall – another valuable race experience and a chance to learn more about where to improve.

Overall, June has been a month of transition and steady progress – balancing training, competition, and personal change. There’s plenty to build on heading into the next phase of the season.
